About Empowered Explant
Empowered Explant is a resource and support brand for women considering breast implant removal, living with breast implant illness or complications, or healing after explant surgery. Founded by Darnah Mercieca, the brand draws on her experience of illness linked to her implants and the relief she felt after explanting in November 2021. Its mission is to help women ask questions, find support, make informed decisions, and approach their health and future with greater confidence, clarity, and self-compassion.
