Empowering Birth Doula Services, LLC provides pregnancy, birth, and postpartum support to families across Baltimore, Annapolis, the DMV, and Southern Maryland. Led by certified birth doula and trained postpartum doula Elizabeth Smith-DeMarco, the practice helps expectant parents feel informed, respected, and empowered through pregnancy, childbirth, and early parenthood.

Prenatal services include visits covering pregnancy and health history, childbirth education, comfort measures, hospital pain-management options, infant feeding, and birth and postpartum planning. Clients can also access phone and email support. During labor and birth, Elizabeth offers continuous physical and emotional support, helps families navigate decisions, and supports birth partners in hospital, birthing center, or home settings. Early postpartum assistance is available, with ongoing communication after birth.

Postpartum doula services can be included in a birth package or purchased separately. Visits may offer newborn and feeding guidance, community resources, space to process the birth experience, nourishing meals, light household help, and errands.
