Empower Society 21, Inc. NFP is a registered nonprofit founded by sisters Tiana Williams and the late Tinesha Williams. Guided by the belief that “all things are possible,” the organization works to break barriers and improve opportunities for individuals with Down syndrome, autism, and other abilities, as well as their families. Its programs focus on advocacy, empowerment, inclusion, independence, and meaningful life experiences.
Services and initiatives include the Empowered Pathways Life Skills Academy, which helps participants build confidence and practical skills for greater independence, along with family support grants, school supply drives, college tours, and community workshops. The organization also hosts Wonderfully Made Day, celebrating individuals’ strengths and contributions, and offers schools an interactive experience focused on confidence, creativity, and belonging. Its events include a gala and talent show that showcase participants’ abilities. Empower Society 21 also promotes the Empower Society App as an innovative resource and invites people to support its work through donations, volunteering, and community engagement.
