Enable Fitness Centre

Enable Fitness Centre is an Adelaide-based provider of accessible gyms and allied health services for people living with disability, disease or the effects of ageing. As South Australia’s largest network of NDIS-registered accessible gyms, it aims to help clients build strength, mobility, fitness, independence and connection in a safe, supportive community. Its four centres are located in Holden Hill, Elizabeth, St Marys and Kidman Park, with facilities designed for wheelchair and mobility-aid users and people with diverse physical and intellectual needs.

The centre offers individualised, evidence-based exercise physiology, physiotherapy, hydrotherapy and dietetics. Physiotherapy includes manual and activity-based therapy, as well as clinical reformer Pilates. Hydrotherapy uses an underwater treadmill tank to support rehabilitation, strength and mobility. Dietitians provide individual and group guidance on nutrition and wellbeing. Enable also runs a Parkinson’s group class and provides NDIS disability support and therapy, along with aged care and Support at Home services. Its programs are tailored to clients’ goals and needs, helping people improve physical function, confidence and quality of life.
