En ANDEN start is a birth and family support practice led by Astrid Givard, a doula, coach, breastfeeding adviser and grief counsellor with more than 16 years of experience. The practice supports pregnant people, couples and new parents with a personal, holistic approach that aims to help them feel informed, respected and secure before, during and after birth. Services include birth preparation, breastfeeding preparation and guidance, postpartum doula support, rebozo instruction and conversations for individuals or couples facing anxiety about birth or processing a difficult birth experience.

Astrid’s approach focuses on each family’s needs and wishes, offering knowledge, practical exercises and guidance rather than prescribing a single idea of the “right” birth. Through Dansk Doula Institut, she also trains doulas and grief doulas and offers courses in facilitating birth and breastfeeding preparation.
