Encinitas Ski and Snow

Encinitas Ski and Snow is a full-service ski and snowboard shop serving San Diego County. Located inside Hansen Surfboards in Encinitas, it offers a convenient place for customers to prepare for trips to the mountains. The shop provides seasonal ski and snowboard rentals, including Burton Step-On snowboard gear. Rental customers are not charged for the day they pick up their equipment or the day they return it, and reservations can be made through the shop’s website.

Encinitas Ski and Snow also offers equipment services, including ski tuning, edge and base work, waxing, and repairs. The shop mounts ski bindings and provides binding calibrations to help customers prepare their equipment for use. For the 2026–27 season, it announced that it was open as of October 17 for ski tuning, binding mounts, and seasonal rentals. By bringing rentals and equipment preparation together in one location, Encinitas Ski and Snow supports skiers and snowboarders getting ready for their next mountain outing.
