About YOOtheme
ENCO Initiative is a charitable organization focused on empowering women and children in rural Maasai communities through health, education, and economic empowerment programs. Founded in 2014, ENCO operates in the Arusha region of Tanzania, specifically in Monduli, Ngorongoro, and Longido districts. The organization provides quality education through the Engaruka English Medium Primary School, aiming to combat the high illiteracy rates prevalent in the Maasai communities, particularly among women.
ENCO also focuses on improving the health and economic status of vulnerable women and children, with a vision of creating healthy, educated, gender-equitable, economically viable, and environmentally sustainable communities. Through partnerships with local women, ENCO emphasizes self-reliance and resilience, breaking the cycle of poverty. By donating to ENCO, individuals worldwide can contribute to making a meaningful difference in the lives of those in need
