ENCOMPASS COMMUNITY SUPPORTS

Encompass Community Supports, formerly Rappahannock-Rapidan Community Services, is a community-focused organization dedicated to improving quality of life through comprehensive services across five counties. Its work supports people at different stages of life and with varied needs, including children and youth, adults aged 60 and above, veterans, and individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The organization offers programs in mental health, housing, substance use, addiction and prevention, and transportation, alongside services for children and families.

Its crisis team is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, with dedicated crisis phone lines for people seeking help; emergencies should be directed to 911. Encompass also provides community resources, publications, videos, and information about partner organizations, and shares events and community messages. Beyond direct services, it offers opportunities to volunteer, pursue careers, apply for scholarships, and participate in residential property owner programs.
