EncoreMelaka

Encore Melaka is a theatre and live-entertainment venue located on Melaka’s waterfront, within the Impression City tourist-oriented development. Designed by China’s Beijing Institute of Architectural Design, the theatre is positioned as a cultural landmark for the city and is supported by the Malaysian federal and state governments. Its auditorium seats more than 2,000 people and features a 360-degree rotating platform, multiple performance stages, advanced audio, and 3D video-mapping projection. The venue combines these technologies with theatrical props and special effects to create immersive performances that place audiences within the experience. Its 240-metre stage, described as one of Southeast Asia’s longest, is supported by projection mapping and lighting for large-scale productions.

Encore Melaka presents shows and other live programmes, including the K-Hi Melaka Show, and offers its facilities for a broad range of events. These include concerts, performances, business conferences, beauty pageants, festivals, competitions, charity runs and walks, road shows, sports events, bazaars, and outdoor and indoor functions. The venue also accommodates live streaming and filming, including MTV shoots.
