Encounter School

Encounter School of Ministry is a Catholic formation and training school established from the heart of Encounter Ministries. Its mission is to teach, equip, and activate disciples to demonstrate God’s love through the power of the Holy Spirit. Drawing on Scripture, Catholic tradition, Church teaching, the early Church Fathers, and the lives of the saints, the school brings traditional and charismatic spirituality together. Its curriculum is reviewed by theologians and by bishops presiding over satellite campuses, and people do not need to be Catholic to apply.

The school offers a two-year, eight-quarter program in practical ministry and spiritual formation, with topics including identity, healing, inner healing, prophecy, and evangelization. Through onsite campuses and online learning in multiple languages, students develop practical tools for prayer ministry, discernment, sharing the Gospel, and practicing spiritual gifts in a supportive setting. Encounter also provides events such as a Summer Intensive and conference, along with annual mission opportunities for eligible students and alumni who have completed first-year prayer ministry training.
