About Enda Dominicana
ENDA Dominicana is a non-profit organization representing the International Network for Environment and Development in the Third World in the Dominican Republic. As part of ENDA Caribbean, they focus on environmental and development issues in the region. One of their main goals is reforestation, where they plant different types of trees to repopulate deforested areas.
They also work towards social equity and gender equality, aiming to provide equal opportunities for all individuals, from families to community organizations. Through practical and informal training, they educate producers and communities on income generation and natural resource conservation. Additionally, they restore degraded ecosystems and promote the proper use of forest resources for the benefit of rural communities.
ENDA Dominicana also focuses on providing clean water to marginalized rural communities and implementing projects that contribute to sustainable development and environmental protection. They have successfully completed several projects and continue working towards their commitment to development alongside environmental conservation.
