About Liver Coalition
Liver Coalition of San Diego is a brand dedicated to making a significant impact in the fight against liver disease. As the convener of the Hepatitis C Initiative, they spearhead a public-private partnership aimed at eliminating hepatitis C by 2030. The initiative began in November 2018 and has since gained approval from the San Diego County Board of Supervisors.
A Recommendation Report was developed, and an Implementation Plan was approved. The Liver Coalition of San Diego plays a key role in convening the partnership and ensuring its success. In addition to their focus on eliminating hepatitis C, the Liver Coalition of San Diego offers various programs and resources.
They organize Liver Virtual Roundtables, conduct In-Person Forums, and maintain an extensive Education Library. They also provide advocacy opportunities and support for chronic care initiatives and alcohol policy. Their goal is to provide resources and support for individuals affected by liver disease and to promote self-advocacy.
