Endorphin Power Company (EPC) is a registered 501(c)(3) organization serving Albuquerque’s recovery community since 2003. It addresses substance abuse and homelessness as both individual and social challenges, promoting healthy living, strong connections, and environmental awareness. Its approach is guided by four pillars: education, service, community, and exercise.
EPC provides single-occupancy transitional housing for people recovering from substance abuse. Residents have a safe, clean, sober living environment where they can join a supportive community and work toward personal goals. The organization also offers an intensive outpatient program with three tracks. Group sessions meet Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays and include preparing and sharing a meal; IOP participation is available to people who do not live at EPC, and residents are not required to enroll. IOP participants receive a free gym membership and may take optional individual guitar lessons.
EPC hosts recovery meetings, classes, and other events for people in recovery, their friends, and family. Its calendar is updated regularly, and its campus aims to provide a safe, welcoming, nonjudgmental space.
