The East Coast Endodontic Study Club is an accredited continuing education program for general dentists, based at Dalhousie University School of Dentistry in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Established in 2003, the club brings dental professionals together to build competency in endodontics through expert mentoring, clinical learning and practical training with patients. Its annual program includes six meetings: three winter webinars on Zoom led by mentor and co-founder Dr.
Robert S. Roda, followed by three in-person training days at Dalhousie’s dental school in May and June. Participants can earn up to 36 Category 1 continuing education credits each year through the program’s webinars and hands-on sessions.
The club describes its approach as encouraging and collaborative, supporting dentists as they develop their endodontic knowledge and skills. It welcomes new members and offers virtual membership options. Dental graduates across Canada receive complimentary membership for their first two years, followed by one year at reduced fees; retired members who no longer practise may remain members for life at no charge
