Energiaekonomistit

Suomen energiaekonomistit ry (SEE) is a Finnish nonprofit association dedicated to deepening knowledge of energy economics and encouraging informed discussion on energy-related issues. It brings together energy economics specialists from universities and other higher education institutions, government, industry, and the wider business community. Rather than selling products, SEE offers a professional network and a programme of events focused on current questions in the energy sector.

The association aims to organise discussion events each year, including seminars and webinars, and holds regular member meetings. Recent topics have included data centre investment and its effects on electricity demand, networks and markets; energy poverty and the impact of energy costs on households; and household responses to extreme electricity prices and different contract types. Events feature presentations from researchers and experts representing organisations such as universities, public authorities and research institutes, followed by discussion or panel sessions.

SEE also recognises award-winning theses, supports membership, and provides information about the association and its activities through its website
