About Energy City Cactus Rats
The Energy City Cactus Rats are a summer baseball team competing in the Western Canadian Baseball League (WCBL), serving Edmonton and the surrounding community. With a bold team identity built around local spirit, the club celebrates values it describes as robust, entrepreneurial, humble, confident, proud, and strong. Home games are played at Myshak Metro Ballpark, where fans can enjoy baseball alongside community events and game-day promotions.
The team offers several ways to follow and support the season, including game tickets, season tickets, and an Inaugural Game Package. Fans can check the schedule, roster, statistics, articles, and team news, watch game-day livestreams, and shop for official merchandise in the fan shop. The organization also provides information about ballpark access, parking and transportation, rainout policies, and facility rentals. Community involvement is reflected in opportunities to volunteer, billet players, and take part in family-friendly activities such as a children’s colouring book. Based at 2000 MacLeod Avenue in Spruce Grove, Alberta, the Cactus Rats connect baseball, local pride, and a welcoming fan experience.
