About Energy Globe Award
Energy Globe Award is the world's most renowned environmental prize, established by the American agency Arthur D. Little. With participants from over 180 nations, the award recognizes innovative and sustainable projects that offer solutions to our environmental problems.
This prestigious award is presented in various categories such as Life: Earth, Fire, Water, Air, as well as a future-oriented category called Youth and a yearly special category. Projects can be submitted by individuals, companies, or NGOs, and all project submissions are eligible for both national and global participation. The Energy Globe Award is organized by the independent Energy Globe Foundation from Austria, and it aims to showcase successful projects that address emissions reduction and pollution.
Over the years, the Energy Globe database has grown to include around 20,000 projects implemented worldwide. The award ceremony takes place regionally in Austria and nationally in more than 90 participating countries, with some events broadcasted in large TV galas. At the end of each year, the Energy Globe World Award is presented, further increasing the awareness and importance of these remarkable projects to a global audience
