About Energy Pathfinder
Energy Pathfinder is a brand that aims to improve energy efficiency in the Northern Periphery and Arctic region, with a particular focus on historic buildings. This project collaborates with owners, residents, and stakeholders to identify and address the challenges related to energy efficiency in these buildings. The main outcome of the Energy Pathfinder project is an online toolkit designed to support owners of historic buildings in carrying out socially, culturally, and environmentally appropriate energy retrofits.
This toolkit provides guidance and resources on achieving Near Zero Energy standards in historic buildings in different regions. The project comprises six partners from Ireland, Sweden, Scotland, Finland, and the Faroe Islands, and is funded by the European Union through the Interreg programme. Energy Pathfinder also organizes webinars, study visits, and partner meetings to foster knowledge exchange and collaboration.
