The organization supports students from their first year through graduation, offering relevant part-time jobs that fit around their studies, as well as guidance on internships, study choices, CVs and next steps. Its career advice is free and voluntary, and draws on specialist knowledge of technical recruitment and an extensive network of employers, including contractors, consultancies, engineering firms and public authorities.

For graduates and engineers with up to five years of experience, Enginear helps identify permanent roles and traineeships aligned with their ambitions, strengths and personality. Career tests and a structured matching approach support sustainable placements, with the aim of finding a role where candidates can thrive. The organization also provides training, career events, vacancy alerts and opportunities to discuss career decisions.

Enginear works across the built environment, including construction, civil engineering and geo-information, as well as electrical and mechanical engineering.
