About Engineered Arts
Engineered Arts is the UK’s leading designer and manufacturer of humanoid entertainment robots. With a focus on creating unforgettable experiences for science centres, theme parks, and businesses, our robots are guaranteed to captivate visitors, delegates, and audiences. Our journey began with a visionary idea in the mind of our founder and director, Will Jackson.
Through the collaboration of talented local artists and engineers, we started by producing mixed media installations in science centres and museums across the UK. Our mechanical creations quickly gained recognition and were commissioned for prestigious sites such as the Eden Project, Glasgow Science Centre, and Centrum Kopernik in Warsaw. However, we were driven by a desire to create something truly mesmerizing.
In 2005, we introduced RoboThespian Mark 1, a programmable figure capable of assuming any personality and drawing crowds in any context. Since then, we have continued to refine our humanoid robots, including characters like Mesmer, Quinn, and our custom commissions, ensuring that our creations continue to captivate audiences worldwide. With over 100 robots installed globally and more than 15 years of humanoid robot development, Engineered Arts remains at the forefront of human-robotics technology.
