Engle Jordemoder

Jordemoder Julie Haas is an independent midwifery service based near Slagelse, Denmark, led by midwife Julie Haas. She provides midwifery care in families’ own homes, offering personal guidance and support in familiar, comfortable surroundings. Her work has a particular focus on families affected by pregnancy or infant loss.

Julie supports parents facing the birth of a baby who is not expected to survive, those navigating the period after losing a child, and families experiencing a new pregnancy after loss. Her approach is inclusive: she does not set fixed criteria for which families qualify, and encourages people to decide whether her support feels right for them. Her midwifery services are also available to people without a history of loss, although bereaved families are her primary focus.
