Enhanced Learning Credits

ELCAS, or Enhanced Learning Credits Administration Services, is an essential initiative designed to promote lifelong learning among members of the Armed Forces in the UK. Through the Enhanced Learning Credits (ELC) Scheme, ELCAS provides financial support for higher-level qualifications at Level 3 or above, fostering professional development and career advancement. The program is structured to assist serving personnel and service leavers in accessing approved learning providers and courses across various fields.

Members must register and accrue sufficient service before submitting online claims for financial support, ensuring that they can pursue recognized qualifications that meet their career aspirations. ELCAS also plays a crucial role in educational administration, working closely with Education Staff and Single Service Representatives for claim approvals and application processes. With a commitment to enhancing the educational opportunities for military personnel and their families, ELCAS serves as a vital resource in their transition to civilian life and beyond. For any inquiries, members can reach ELCAS through their dedicated contact channels.
