Welcome to Enjoy Contemporary Art Space! Established in June 2000, we are a leading independent contemporary art space located in Te Whanganui-a-Tara Wellington, Aotearoa New Zealand. Our mission is to generate and facilitate contemporary art projects that support the development of new work and promote critical discourse around contemporary practice in Aotearoa. Located on Left Bank, just off Cuba Street, Enjoy offers a wide range of programmes and services.

These include exhibitions, an annual residency, an open call for proposals, offsite projects, public programmes, and publications. Whether you're an emerging or established practitioner, we provide opportunities for you to develop new and innovative work. We are governed by a board of trustees and strive to honor Te Tiriti o Waitangi through our strategic leadership and collaboration with artists.

We acknowledge Te Āti Awa/Taranaki ki Te Upoko o Te Ika and the neighboring Ngāti Toa iwi as the rightful custodians of the land upon which we stand. Come and visit our galleries and reading room, which are free and open to all. Our events are also free to attend, although occasionally, RSVPs may be required due to limited numbers.
