Belle Meade Bourbon, a historic brand revived by Andy and Charlie Nelson, is rooted in rich tradition dating back to the late 1800s. Originally produced by Charles Nelson in partnership with Sperry Wade & Company, it quickly garnered a reputation for exceptional quality before falling into obscurity during Prohibition. In 2006, the Nelson brothers discovered their family's legacy and set out to resurrect the esteemed brand. Through years of dedication, research, and sourcing from established distillers, they crafted a proprietary blend that echoes the original. Today, Belle Meade Bourbon is meticulously aged and bottled at Nelson’s Green Brier Distillery in Nashville, Tennessee.
Their offerings include various expressions, such as Belle Meade Bourbon, Belle Meade Reserve, and Single Barrel editions finished in unique barrels like Sherry and Cognac. The brand not only celebrates its heritage through traditional artistry in labeling but also invites enthusiasts for tours and tastings, ensuring that each sip of Belle Meade Bourbon is infused with history and craftsmanship.
