About Enlightening Motherhood
Enlightening Motherhood is a parenting education brand that supports mothers raising children with big feelings and emotional regulation challenges. Founded by Emily Hamblin, the brand draws on her experience as an educator and as a parent in a neurodivergent family. Its focus is helping families understand children’s meltdowns, respond more confidently, and build healthier relationships at home.
Enlightening Motherhood offers a free “Why Is My Child Melting Down?” mini-training and cheatsheet to help parents identify possible reasons behind a meltdown and find a starting point for responding. Its Emotionally Intelligent Kids membership costs $7 per month and provides more than 30 resources, new materials each month, and a private community where members can ask questions. The Emotionally Healthy Families community costs $47 per month and offers support and resources intended to help parents improve family dynamics and enjoy parenting more. Through these offerings, Enlightening Motherhood aims to ease parental overwhelm, guilt, and conflict while helping children develop emotional intelligence and skills to thrive.
