ENPA Trieste is the local section of the National Animal Protection Agency, working to protect animals and support their welfare in the Trieste area. Its activities include helping animals find homes through adoption, providing veterinary services through its clinic, and coordinating volunteer work. The organisation also operates the Farneto Oasis, which cares for animals and offers opportunities for visitors to learn about them and their needs. Its website provides information about animal protection, downloadable documents, useful contacts and activities for schools.

ENPA Trieste invites the public to support its work through donations, membership and volunteering. It also runs awareness initiatives, including campaigns against animal abandonment, and shares news about animal welfare and protection. The section participates in advocacy efforts, such as a proposal promoted with other animal organisations to abolish hunting. Through public events, educational activities and practical support, ENPA Trieste connects community members with animal care and encourages respect for the right of living beings to exist and receive protection.
