Enschede Lions

Enschede Lions is the official ice hockey club of Enschede, bringing players together across youth and adult teams with a shared spirit of teamwork: “We hunt as a pack.” The club supports participants from their first steps on the ice through competitive play, with teams, practice schedules, games, results and standings available through its website.

For beginners, the Enschede Lions Ice Hockey School offers children aged seven and up a welcoming introduction to the sport. Weekly Sunday sessions are led by experienced coaches, and newcomers can book a free trial lesson. Skates, sticks and a helmet are provided for trial participants. The club’s youth teams are for children aged six to thirteen, while older players can join other teams, with no upper age limit stated. Teams generally practice twice a week; the Ice Hockey School meets once a week.

Enschede Lions also shares club news, answers questions about membership and participation, and offers a shop for supporters and players.
