About The Environmental Forum
The Environmental Forum, formerly known as Cork Environmental Forum, was established in 1995 in response to the Rio Earth Conference, with the aim to promote sustainable development locally. Through various projects, events, and policy work, the organization fosters collaboration between stakeholders from different sectors for the betterment of the environment. The forum's vision is a sustainable world that prioritizes environmental quality, biodiversity, and equitable resource distribution.
