Enya Fonden is a volunteer-run foundation based in Kolding, Denmark, working to support children with disabilities in Zambia and help families facing limited access to care and support. Established in 2025, the foundation is inspired by Enya, the founders’ daughter, whose life and experiences shaped its mission. With personal ties to both Denmark and Zambia, the organisation aims to promote dignity, inclusion, care and hope for children and their families.
The foundation’s work includes helping children access daily care, assistive equipment and greater security in everyday life. Recent stories highlight practical support such as wheelchairs and adapted strollers. Enya Fonden also brings families together to reduce isolation and create a sense of community. In Denmark, it works to provide a space where parents of children with disabilities can meet and feel less alone. The organisation shares updates and stories, organises events, and invites people to contribute through donations, membership, volunteering or spreading awareness.
