eOdyn

Their innovative Omni-Situ (OS) technology transforms any vessel into an ocean current sensor, providing the highest frequency and coverage commercially available. By utilizing the Automatic Identification System (AIS) and advanced algorithms, eOdyn is able to capture oceanic features in coastal areas and open oceans with unprecedented resolution in space and time. By making the invisible visible, eOdyn is changing the way companies and governments use ocean current data.

They collaborate with maritime and government organizations, supporting the marine industry and research by measuring and providing ocean surface currents. Their data aids seafarers in daily decision-making, helps states and local governments preserve marine resources, and empowers the maritime sector to transition to more sustainable and efficient practices. eOdyn's Software-as-a-Service platform delivers insights and timely analysis to support day-to-day decision-making.

Their eObserver platform provides real-time insights through a visualization platform, while their feature detection capability makes sense of complex ocean data sets. They also provide on-demand access to observational data and high-resolution model data through their API. Leading maritime companies, researchers, and government agencies trust eOdyn's accurate and reliable ocean surface current measurements.
