About EOPD.IE
EOPD is a support group and online community dedicated to providing support and information to individuals diagnosed with early onset Parkinson's disease in Ireland. With a focus on assisting those with Parkinson's, their families, carers, health professionals, and anyone interested, EOPD offers a listening ear, resources, and guidance on all aspects of living with early onset Parkinson's. As a completely voluntary registered not-for-profit organization, EOPD relies on the dedication of its small team to support over 18,000 individuals in Ireland living with Parkinson's disease.
EOPD hosts events, such as the Nees Family's 6 Bens Challenge, where an Irish man with early onset Parkinson's scaled Europe's 28 highest peaks in 28 days. They also encourage involvement through membership and donations, allowing individuals to contribute and receive the support they need. Additionally, EOPD shares the latest news and information on managing symptoms, including tips on bladder and bowel problems and the potential benefits of CBD for Parkinson's.
