Epel Larp

Epel Larp ry is a Finnish association that supports the creation and organization of live-action role-playing games (larps). Based in Tampere, it operates primarily in the Pirkanmaa region and provides a supportive organization behind larp projects. Membership is particularly useful for game creators, while anyone interested can follow the association’s news and resources.

Epel Larp shares practical guides and articles on topics such as character development, writing character materials, planning production schedules, and organizing player registration. It also offers larp-related equipment and scenery storage, with items available for rent. The association has published ready-to-run game materials, including Lohikäärmeratsastajat, a fantasy larp for ten players that can be replayed by others, along with instructions for facilitators. Its projects have also included IN-Feels, a browser-based mobile application for accessing game instructions using codes. Through its games, resources, and practical support, Epel Larp helps people develop and run larp experiences, from early planning through play.
