EPIC EMPIRES e. V. is the organization behind EPIC EMPIRES, a live-action role-playing (LARP) event for adults.
Its large-scale fantasy gathering brings participants together to create stories, develop characters and shape a shared world through their choices. The event features a major battle, an ongoing plot, resource-based play and the fictional city of Neu-Ostringen, with distinct districts, factions and themed camps. Participants can take part as players, non-player characters, staff, merchants or artists, with applications and information provided through the organization’s website.
EPIC EMPIRES also supports the practical side of attending, offering event registrations and a shop that includes items such as firewood and tent-and-bench sets. Online resources cover rules, prices, infrastructure, awareness, travel and frequently asked questions, helping attendees prepare for the event. The organization shares news and participant information, publishes event photographs and highlights past scholarship recipients and winners.
Its focus is on immersive collaborative play, giving attendees opportunities to contribute to the setting and influence how its stories unfold
