About EPIC
Enabling Peace in Iraq Center (EPIC) is an independent 501(c)(3) organization supporting Iraqi-led efforts to strengthen governance and human rights, build peace, and address climate change. The organization monitors crises and political developments across Iraq, explains their implications, and highlights priorities for lasting peace and recovery. Its work centers on three areas: peace and lasting recovery, human rights and accountability, and climate and environmental action.
EPIC combines research, advocacy, field programs, and public updates to inform audiences and support action. Its publications examine issues including political reform, regional conflict, water scarcity, and wastewater management. The center also provides emergency assistance to vulnerable populations and supports practical initiatives led by Iraqi partners. These include efforts to protect rivers, strengthen farms and communities, and improve access to clean water through its Water for Iraq campaign and related projects.
Based in Washington, D.C., EPIC invites individuals to subscribe for updates, donate, invest in its work, or explore opportunities to work with the organization.
