Epic Fencing

Epic Fencing Club is a Calgary-based fencing club that welcomes beginners and experienced participants into an active, supportive community. Its coaching emphasizes attentive instruction, proper technique, focus, confidence, and enjoyment, with programs designed for children, teens, and adults. Youth can start with six-week introductory programs for ages 6–13, while teens and adults can choose introductory options that include three private lessons. The club also offers school and homeschool programs, as well as ongoing monthly memberships featuring weekly classes and some private lessons.

Members can train in foil or epee through age-based classes and schedules, with options for teens, adults, and university students. Additional services include private lessons, open bouting and drop-in classes for non-members, camps, training camps, tournaments, and special events. Epic Fencing also hosts birthday parties, corporate events, and fencing date nights. Equipment information and an Epic Skills Pathway support participants’ development. Flexible scheduling, family and student discounts, and financial assistance through KidSport help make participation more accessible; the club says it matches KidSport donations to support families continuing beyond their initial months.
