Epicurean Wines is a Seattle-headquartered importer established in 2000, bringing distinctive Australian wines to the United States. It began with boutique selections from Barossa Valley and McLaren Vale and has since built a portfolio representing 23 Australian producers. Its wines showcase regions including Adelaide Hills, Clare Valley, Langhorne Creek, Margaret River and the Hunter Valley, as well as its original South Australian sources.
The company works with family-owned wineries and seeks carefully selected examples that combine power with balance and depth. Its collection also reflects a newer Australian wine movement, featuring less-typical grape varieties and producers focused on regenerative and sustainable farming practices. In 2016, Epicurean partnered with South Australian winery Unico Zelo, known for making wines from Italian varietals.
The portfolio expanded beyond wine with Applewood Gin in 2017 and a Tasmanian whisky in 2018. With distribution spanning more than 46 states, Epicurean Wines connects consumers and trade partners with a varied selection of Australian wines and spirits, including approachable, regionally expressive releases
