About Epistles Mail
Epistles Mail, developed by Moriah LLC, is a local-first email client designed to bring multiple providers together without hiding their differences. It supports Gmail, Microsoft 365 and Outlook, Fastmail, JMAP servers, iCloud, Proton, and IMAP, including self-hosted servers. Available for macOS, Windows, Linux, iOS, Android, the web, Apple Watch, and Wear OS, it offers one place to manage email across devices.
Epistles preserves provider-specific features and behavior, such as Gmail labels, Microsoft categories, JMAP mailboxes, and Proton encryption. Messages, attachments, drafts, search indexes, and Proton private keys stay on the user’s device, with search running locally. The company’s servers support account sync and push delivery but do not store mailbox content; Cloud Vault stores ciphertext only. Epistles has also passed a CASA Tier 2 security assessment.
The app is free for up to two accounts, with a Pro option for unlimited accounts. Its watch app supports quick email triage, including archiving, snoozing, pinning, template replies, and RSVP actions.
