Farsund Undervannsklubb

Epoke is a working group dedicated to exploring historical change, with a particular focus on Danish and Norwegian maritime history. Its name reflects the idea of an “epoch”: a defining moment or period when events mark a shift in direction. Drawing on this theme, the group aims to highlight historical differences and examine the changes that have shaped maritime history across Denmark and Norway.

Epoke’s work combines historical investigations with subsea operations, bringing documentary research and underwater activity into its approach. The website provides information about the group through sections including Home, Q&A, Press, and Contact, and offers Danish and Norwegian language options. Epoke also acknowledges its collaborators, indicating that its work is conducted in collaboration with others. The group presents its mission as an effort to identify and communicate meaningful historical turning points, using maritime history as its central area of interest. Its approach connects the study of the past with subsea operations to investigate and bring attention to historical distinctions.
