Epsilar

Epsilar is a self-defence and threat management training provider based in Far North Queensland, Australia. Drawing on more than 30 years of training and experience, the brand combines traditional martial arts, close-quarter combat and applied threat management to help people build awareness, confidence and practical skills for personal safety. Its programs are designed for different levels of fitness and experience, from complete beginners to people pursuing professional security or close protection roles.

Epsilar offers unarmed self-defence training and workshops, including courses tailored specifically for women. Close Quarter Combat courses teach techniques such as strikes, throws, takedowns and methods for extracting oneself, with scenario-based practice. Women’s self-defence courses focus on understanding risks and developing strategies and physical skills for responding to potential attacks. Advanced seminars are available to participants with substantial martial arts, combat military or close protection experience, and cover advanced techniques and threat management planning.
