EQ Archives is the community database and account portal for the EQA Project, an EverQuest emulation server built around the legacy 2002-era client. It offers players an opportunity to explore Norrath through classic gameplay, with a progression path from the original game through later expansions. The server features Firiona Vie-style free trade, preserved legacy item drops, raids tuned for smaller teams, and group experience bonuses. Players can also use keyrings, server-wide chat channels, optional Zeal client modifications, and transfers of up to three characters from other servers.

The EQ Archives website provides extensive resources for planning and managing adventures, including searchable databases for items, spells, NPCs, zones, factions, and recipes. Its tools include character profiles, inventory searches, self-service transfers, experience calculations, raid scheduling, and DKP standings. The site also connects players to installation guides, client downloads, patch notes, a wiki, and source code. EQA supports its community through Discord, where members can find server updates, guides, trading discussions, voice chat, and raid information.
