About Equal Aqua Uganda
Equal Aqua Uganda is a non-governmental organization established in 2020 by dedicated volunteers aiming to address water inequality in Uganda. As a registered Community Based Organization, Equal Aqua aligns its initiatives with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 6, which focuses on ensuring clean water and sanitation for all. The organization undertakes impactful water projects and educational programs while prioritizing community empowerment.
The diverse team behind Equal Aqua consists of professionals with extensive backgrounds in finance, monitoring and evaluation, legal policy, and project management. They work collaboratively to implement programs that not only aim to provide safe water access but also enhance the lives of individuals, particularly young girls, through sexual and reproductive health education. With a vision to foster wash equality, Equal Aqua Uganda also invites volunteers to engage in its initiatives, contributing to meaningful change in communities.
