Equality at the Plate Foundation is a Colorado-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit working to address racial and socioeconomic inequality in youth baseball. Founded to help ensure that money or race does not prevent a child from playing, the organization connects players and families with practical support and people who want to make the game more accessible.
The foundation collects and distributes baseball equipment, including gloves, bats, cleats, helmets, and catcher’s gear. Families can apply for help with equipment, league fees, travel-team dues, and camp tuition through scholarships and other financial support. The organization also works to improve access to coaching, free clinics, and baseball facilities for children who might otherwise be unable to participate.
Supporters can contribute funds, organize equipment drives at schools, teams, or workplaces, or volunteer to coach a clinic. Equality at the Plate aims to direct donated resources and volunteer time to children who need them, helping more young players learn, play, and succeed in baseball.
