Equi Bene, run by Rita Nissen, provides equine therapy and training focused on each horse’s individual needs and wellbeing. Rita’s professional background includes training in equine therapy and coaching, with knowledge of equine anatomy, physical function, learning psychology and behaviour. Her services include physiotherapy for horses, craniosacral therapy, laser therapy and massage, as well as balancing treatments intended to address physical imbalances and support rehabilitation.

Additional techniques include neuromotor training, kinesiology taping, joint mobilisation, fascia release, stretching and strength or recovery exercises. Training options include groundwork, classical dressage, centered riding and balanced riding, alongside starting horses under saddle and behaviour training. Equi Bene develops individual training plans and works at the horse’s pace, aiming to support strength, balance and sustainable progress.

Rita also offers practical guidance for owners, keeps records for horses receiving treatment and emphasises that a horse therapist does not replace veterinary care. Appointments and service information are available through Equi Bene, with treatments tailored to the horse’s condition and requirements
