Equibalance

Equibalance is a Danish equine therapy and nutrition practice founded by Caroline, a qualified physiotherapist for horses with a master’s degree in Animal Science from the University of Copenhagen. Combining academic knowledge with practical experience, Equibalance takes a whole-horse approach to balance, wellbeing, movement and nutrition. Each plan is tailored to the horse’s needs, with follow-up support to monitor progress and make adjustments.

Services include physiotherapeutic treatments using massage, craniosacral therapy, joint mobilisation, acupressure and laser therapy. Nutrition therapy uses hair and cell analysis to inform a personalised feeding plan, while a comprehensive assessment combines nutritional analysis with physical therapy. Longer programmes include multiple therapy sessions and a follow-up analysis. Equibalance also offers educational courses covering equine anatomy, massage and simple techniques for horse owners. The practice emphasises gentle handling, professional standards and attention to each horse’s responses. Based in Jyderup, Equibalance includes travel within 50 kilometres in its listed service prices, with additional travel charged per kilometre.
