Equidental

Equidental, operated by Brungs & Grulke GbR, is a mobile equine veterinary practice focused on modern horse dentistry and related diagnostic care. Based in Fiersbach, the practice travels to support horses and their owners, with appointments arranged by phone or contact form. Equidental also states that it is available around the clock for emergencies.

Its services include dental examinations and treatment, in which horses’ teeth and oral tissues are assessed and sharp edges, hooks, and abnormalities are treated using electric dental instruments. The practice also performs tooth extractions, supported by examinations and, where appropriate, X-rays or endoscopy, followed by individual aftercare.

Equidental offers endoscopic examinations of the mouth, airways, and upper digestive tract. Bronchoscopy allows inspection and sampling of the respiratory tract, while gastroscopy examines the oesophagus, stomach, and beginning of the duodenum. Oral endoscopy helps document areas that are difficult to see, including spaces between teeth and nearby mucous membranes. These investigations help inform decisions about suitable treatment for each horse.
