Equine Sports Medicine Analytics

Equine Sports Medicine Analytics is a specialist veterinary and performance-analysis practice supporting racehorses and performance horses through training, recovery, rehabilitation and return to work. Led by Dr Laura Fitzharris, an equine sports medicine veterinarian with more than 14 years of experience and advanced training, the practice combines clinical expertise, diagnostics and wearable technology analysis to provide individualised, evidence-based recommendations.

Its mobile veterinary services include poor-performance investigation, locomotor assessment, respiratory evaluation, rehabilitation management and return-to-work planning. The practice also interprets wearable technology and performance data to help trainers monitor workload, fitness, recovery and athletic progression, and make informed training decisions. By combining objective data with veterinary assessment, Equine Sports Medicine Analytics aims to identify concerns, guide care and support long-term equine health and resilience.

Dr Fitzharris works collaboratively with trainers, riders, owners and referring veterinarians. Her credentials include recognition as an RCVS Specialist and qualifications through the American and European Colleges of Veterinary Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation. Based in Sydney, Australia, the practice also contributes to research, education and professional development.
