Equinet is the European Network of Equality Bodies, a membership organization comprised of public institutions dedicated to fighting discrimination at the national level. Their main objective is to facilitate the exchange of expertise and knowledge among its members to enhance their practice and effectiveness in promoting equality and non-discrimination. Through Equinet, members are able to share their successes and challenges, learn from each other's experiences, and collectively work towards positive change.

Equinet operates through two key structures: the Executive Board, composed of representatives elected by the General Assembly, and the Equinet Secretariat, consisting of experts responsible for daily management and implementation of activities. The Secretariat works closely with expert groups, which provide a platform for members to discuss and address issues related to their national mandates. These discussions lead to the production of valuable outputs such as reports, publications, and toolkits, which are shared with stakeholders including civil society organizations and national institutions.

Equinet also organizes events such as seminars, training events, and conferences to further promote knowledge exchange and disseminate expertise. By fostering efficient communication channels and engaging in meaningful collaborations, Equinet aims to contribute to positive change for equality and non-discrimination in Europe
