About Equine Therapy
The Equine Therapy Center is a pioneer in therapeutic work with horses, located in Monmouthshire at the southernmost edge of the Bannau Brycheiniog National Park. Our mission is to be a center of excellence in helping children and adults recover from trauma through Equine Facilitated Therapy (EFT). With set goals such as emotional self-regulation and creating healthy boundaries, EFT brings about change on a somatic level.
By building a relationship with a horse, individuals can better understand themselves and learn strategies for living healthier lives. In addition to providing EFT sessions, we train the next generation of EFT therapists and offer a range of professional training with and without horses. Our serene 31-acre base in the countryside offers a secure and private space for therapeutic practices.
With highly skilled facilitators, tailored programs, and great facilities, we ensure a friendly and welcoming environment for all our clients.
