Equipage Performance

Equipage Performance is a chiropractic practice focused on the horse-and-rider partnership, or “equipage.” Its approach treats the pair as a connected unit: a horse’s difficulties may be influenced by the rider, so both are observed and assessed before treatment begins. The practitioner is a human chiropractor educated at the University of Southern Denmark, with further training in chiropractic care for horses and dogs at the International Academy of Veterinary Chiropractic in Germany.

For horse-and-rider appointments, the process may include observing the horse with its equipment, watching it move in hand and under saddle, and recording video for review. The rider receives guidance on improving their position, treatment where appropriate, and individually tailored exercises. The horse is assessed throughout its body and treated when needed, with rest recommended afterward. Equipage Performance also offers chiropractic services for riders and dogs, alongside prices, courses and workshops.
