Its mountain bike programme welcomes riders from age five, supporting them from their first experiences on a bike through to ambitious competition. Training emphasizes enjoyment, riding technique, safety, responsibility, and each child’s personal development, while group rides and training camps build skills and a strong sense of community.
The club offers youth mountain bike training, Enduro Days, road cycling sessions, and indoor training, alongside opportunities to ride in a bike park and take part in races. It also accompanies young riders to competitions and shares club news, race reports, and event updates. As the Regional Training Centre for Upper Bavaria’s U13, U15, and U17 mountain bike development, équipe vélo Oberland supports regional youth cycling in partnership with the Bavarian Cycling Association. Children can also earn the Kids-Rad-Diplom, a course designed to teach safe cycling in a club setting.
